It was great to get to our 40th reunion, tour B-CC, be reunited with old friends, and be reacquainted with classmates not known so well. A big thank you to the team who organized the event!

I live in a suburb of Cincinnati; my husband Steve went to Kenyon (and remembers Julia Stern and Ruth Peto) and is an emergency medicine MD. Two daughters: one is a fashion designer and one a student at Swarthmore. My days are filled with artwork, volunteering, helping out our aging parents.
Rebecca Stockton asked on her profile page if we are "doing now what you thought 40 years ago you would be doing." Not at all; I'm a terrible prognosticator. I loved art but in 1973 didn't see it as a practical path (hah - after Duke, I worked as a scientific illustrator, then graphic design, then Art Director at Procter & Gamble, now doing pastels and mixed media art). I preferred the vibrancy and culture of DC to flyover country (hah - I've lived more than half my life in Ohio now, wonderful place to raise a family). Certainly I never saw myself as a housewife like my own mother (after my daughters were born I left P&G and being a mom is the best, most important job I've had). Life's paths are full of forks in the road. Or life has a sense of humor?

It was so wonderful to see friends from Leland and B-CC days. I'm sad I didn't get to see Leslie Breese, Martha Katz, Jill Mahaffey, Leigh Morfit, Ruth Peto, Mary Jan Rosenak.... would have loved to say hi. Forgive me if I left a name out - the memory files are dusty. And I'm sad for all our classmates no longer here.
